Crafty eraser collectors
1
March 3rd, 2010PersonalI’ve been thinking a lot about such things as art, crafts and writing lately and wondering how I can combine everything I want to do with my tiny eraser business. There are so many things I’m passionate about and so many things I want to achieve in life, and I worry sometimes that there’s just too much I want to do. I’m a perfectionist and if I do something I want to do it, well, perfectly! So how *much* can I achieve? How can I be *this* if I’m already *that*? How many different things is one person allowed to be in life? Can I be any number of things I choose? If I’m happy and passionate about everything I do, then does it matter if some of my ambitions are on completely different paths? Can I be multifaceted *and* successful?
Then I got to thinking about some of the eraser collector people I’ve met over the years, and how they’ve all been creative people with a passion for things such as art, crafts, writing, design etc. I wonder if there’s a connection? I can’t imagine that creative types are generally drawn to collecting erasers! But I do wonder if the type of people who enjoy eraser collecting tend to be creative.
I’m just rambling really and using this blog to unwind some of my thoughts, but I would like to know what you think. Are you a creative person? How do you unleash your creativity? Do you have a creative business I should link to? Do you follow several different paths in life?
I’d love to hear from you.
Good to see you again! Please leave your comments, I read everything :) Have you subscribed to my RSS feed yet?

It’s a pretty nice website you’ve got here! Keep it up! ^^
Well, I’d say I’m a pretty creative person, if I dare say so myself. I love arts and crafts and making things, n can rarely go on a day without fixing/tweaking or creating something new (even though I may have done a lot of work throughout the day, if it isn’t the personal craft work that I’m thrilled about, I’ll feel like I’ve done nothing in the day). When I’m not studying, I spend most of my time hand making my own jewelry that I sell on my website: http://www.leopoldine-jpm.com (which I’ve enjoyed and still enjoy coding from scrap), and tend to have a thing thing for remaking/editing notebook covers (I completely customize them). I also collect and customize My Little Pony’s. While I paint/rehair my custom ponies I also enjoy singing. >.< hehe.
